About this Website

Why did you make this?

There are a few reasons, primarally I was getting tired of having a bunch of different accounts and places to keep track of. This site allows me to have an online presents that is not controlled by a large company. The second reason was because I am a very hands-on person who love to make stuff. In january 2026 I was itching to make something, so I made a previous version of this site!

How did you make it?

This site is Running on an old Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+. I am using Ngnix to run the website and I have a cloudflare tunnel to open the Pi to the greater internet. It took a lot of searching around but I was able to get a "Hello World" working.

I then threw togrther a basic site that just said a bit about me and had a download to my resume. That process gave me have a whole new understanding of how the internet works and webpages. I then got to thinking. Thinking about making a better site. Only with HTML and CSS. I liked the idea of keeping it basic. After searching around for insparation, I found the 1MB.club website. That lead me to Greg Reda's site. I liked his about page enough to borrow some of his design, after asking him.
